Police Services Officer (Corrections)

The Hoquiam Police Department seeks motivated individuals who want to start or continue their law enforcement careers.  We currently have three openings for the position of Police Services Officer (PSO).  A PSO is an armed, limited-commission position.   The primary role of the PSO is correctional duties in the 30-bed Hoquiam City Jail.  PSOs also assist with records management, code enforcement, and support the patrol division with other duties such as crime scene security, traffic control, and special events.   There is a $6,000 lateral (COA certified) officer hiring incentive!
