CITY OF WARDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Chief of Police

This is an administrative and patrol position, under the direction of the Mayor. This position plans, directs and manages all police functions and personnel.

Annual Salary Range is $105,000 - $120,000  DOQ.  Signing Bonus of up to $15,000.

Comprehensive Benefit Package

Education and or Experience

Four year degree in criminal justice, pre-law, business, public administration, or other closely related field.  Four Years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Three (3) Years of experience as a Police Chief, Assistant Chief or Command Leader.  Ten years or more total law enforcement experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license
  • Valid Peace Officer Certification issued by the WSCJTC.
  • Must be able to pass extensive background, polygraph, physical and psychological examination, medical evaluation, and drug test.
