Entry-Level Corrections Deputy

Must be U.S. citizen/lawful permanent resident, 21 yrs by hire date. No felony convictions. No gross misdemeanor/misdemeanor conviction for physical harm, controlled substances. Pass background, poly, psych eval. Valid WADL. High school diploma or GED.

Will enforce policies/procedures; prevent escapes; maintain order/discipline; escort to court, other appts.; provide security and supervision. Conduct preliminary inquiries into rules violations. Investigate complaints, excess noise, mentally ill; provide first aid for injury, illness, drug OD, attempted suicide victims.
