With a 2025–2026 budget of $48 million, the Department operates in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment requiring strong local, state, federal, tribal, and international partnerships. Its 196 personnel include 138 commissioned officers and 58 civilian professionals assigned across three bureaus led by deputy chiefs.
